Call for Nomadic Murals

CALL FOR NOMADIC MURALS

The International Meeting of Art and Human Rights of Western Sahara, ARTifariti 2021, in its XV edition, calls on all visual artists, associations and collectives around the world to participate in the creation of a nomadic mural with any themes related to the current situation in Western Sahara with a social and political perspective or about the human rights violations suffered by Sultana Khaya as a tribute to the struggle and resistance of the sahrawi people. (As a nomadic mural, the art could be created on a blanket to travel through the most representative city spaces where each of the artists, collectives and/or associations reside).

Contest Entry

The artists shall create the nomadic mural in a public event that will take place on Sunday, November 28th and they must send a video of the work to artistas@artifariti.org since Sunday November 28th until December 5th 2021. The video will be screened online on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 on the festival’s website and social networks.

All associations and groups that wish to participate must send an application email to artistas@artifariti.org with the description of the work in a page, full name of the artists, collective, company or association, nationality, website (if any), email and whatsapp contact number.
